This is a new model Carlos Reutemann's winning Brabham Ford BT44B from the 1975 German Grand Prix.
The model has been built using a white-metal kit by Tameo Kits, and I have made a number of modifications using scratch-built parts. These include a new anti-torsion bar, a new roll bar, a new gear stick and new tyre valves. I've also redone the instruments so that they are no longer just a flat decal, but have a recess with the addition of pieces of mica to resemble the glass covers, and wires with nuts coming out of the rear. As usual I’ve added spark plug cables and aviation-type hoses with nuts. The kit doesn’t come with all the accessories to be found on the real car, so I’ve added, or example, an oxygen tank and hose. The only opening part is the airbox as supplied with the kit so as to maintain the lines of the car.
